About
The Society generates funds from an annual door to door collection for the month of September, a Table Quiz run by the committee of Hillview Sports Club and other donations.
- The funds are used to:
- Send people to Lourdes
- Run an annual Christmas Party.
- Bring people on an annual Pilgrimage to Knock.
- Run monthly Tea Parties in Clonmel Og.
- Attend the Blessing of the Sick in Holycross
- Bring people on outings.and other events as they arise.
In 2010, the Emergency services ran a fundraising cycle and together with the National Lottery, the Society was able to purchase a specially adapted bus which we use to transport our members. The society holds an annual AGM to elect it's committee officers.
